Mura Santangelo's PledgePage

The Camino--associated with the cult of the apostle St. James--is a European pilgrimage route which people have walked since the 9th Century.
My husband Larry and I will walk it in 2003. We will start on May 5th from St. Jean-Pied-de-Port in France near the Spanish border, walk over the Pyrenees into Roncesvalles, on to Pamplona, and continue westward parallel to Spain's Northern coast, ending in Santiago de Compostela about 6 weeks and 500 miles later.

With this European walk we would like to raise funds to support the programs of the Seva Foundation, which benefit indigenous peoples of the Americas, acknowledging the role Europe has played in changing the cultures of native people.

The Seva Foundation works with Native American communities in some of the poorest counties in the U.S., and with Mayan communities in remote areas of Mexico and Guatemala.

How can you help? You can help by pledging a charitable contribution to Seva based on the number of miles Larry and I complete.
